After teasing an Ionia County homecoming for weeks, the bluegrass superstar made it official on Tuesday. Billy Strings will play two shows at the Ionia County Fairgrounds on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29, just weeks after the Ionia Free Fair wraps up. Just the idea of seeing Billy Strings play a pair of shows at the Ionia County Fairgrounds is enough to send people scrambling to their calendars and getting ready to fight for tickets. After all, Billy Strings could play anywhere.
