Roxanne Hamedi survived a brutal first boardroom on the first episode of the new series of The Apprentice. The Aberdeen pharmacist watched as two of her teammates were fired by Lord Sugar as the BBC show kicked off its 20th season with 20 candidates last night. Roxanne, known as Roxi, is the founder of natural hair rejuvenation brand Browtasia and is hoping to make it to the final boardroom and secure a £250,000 business investment from Lord Sugar. Prior to them heading off to Asia, Lord Sugar described it as the “toughest challenge” of their lives. Back at the boardroom, Lord Sugar seethed:”a whole working team and your team got two items”.
