— An 8–0 run down the stretch helped the Wyoming Cowgirls basketball team rally to escape Wednesday night with a 47–42 win over Fresno State. After Wyoming got the first hoop of the game, Fresno State scored the next five points. As the second quarter got underway, both defenses continued to make things difficult for the other team’s offense. Over the course of the quarter, though, UW remained stymied while Fresno State managed to surge ahead. Beslic blocked a Fresno State 3-pointer out of the timeout, which led to another free throw from Pedersen to ice the game.
