Addressing an an event organised by the Gandhi Global Family, Sinha paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and freedom fighters who followed the Gandhian path during India’s independence movement. Sinha said the world was passing through a period of uncertainty, marked by geopolitical tensions, social divisions and economic realignments. He said Gandhi was not merely a leader of the past but a guiding light for the present world. His vision of non-violence, truth and self-determination, Sinha said, was as relevant today as it was during India’s freedom struggle. With courage and moral clarity, he said, Gandhi chose the path of truth and self-determination, leaving behind principles that continue to guide humanity.
