Met Office rain warning for South West England and Northern Ireland as the UK braces for another wet weekend. Rain and showers have affected much of the UK, whilst Western Scotland has avoided the worst so far. It has been a cold start, with snow falling over hills across England and Scotland, though conditions have generally remained frost-free. This rain will then move northwards during the evening, fragmenting into smaller areas of rain overnight.
