Unannounced inspection highlights ‘significant strengths’ at Moray care at home service

A Moray care at home and housing support service has been praised after an unannounced inspection found “significant strengths” within the service.
Moray Services (Housing Support) supports 17 adults with learning disabilities living in shared accommodation across five properties in Elgin.
On December 17 and December 18 last year, an inspection was carried out by one inspector from the Care Inspectorate.
The service’s ability to support people’s wellbeing has improved markedly and was graded as “very good”.
“This meant people could be assured staff were well trained.”The service’s ability to plan its care and support was also graded as “very good”.
