Picture: FacebookBoutique Sydney rum maker Sydney Distilling Co has gone into voluntary administration, with a firm exploring every option possible to save the legacy distillery brand. The business trading under the name Brix Distillers has appointed RSM Australian Partners as administrators of the business. Brix is Sydney’s first craft rum focused distillery and has operated out of Surry Hills since 2017. It has received numerous accolades, including World’s Best Unaged Rum at the World Rum Awards for their White Can Spirit in 2020 and 2022.
