Ms Jackson has said the weekly markets held on a Thursday on Market Street "completely blocked" Fizz's entrance, which damaged business. The 72-year-old said: "We had an ongoing battle with the council - the markets blocked us off on a Thursday. "Thursdays are always the busiest days for high streets and we had two stalls that completely blocked the entrance to our shop. "We contacted the council asking 'Why not alternate where the markets would be set up' but it just fell on deaf ears." Ms Jackson added: "Town centres are dying and councils aren't helping - you can't run a business when they just don't listen.
