Brenda Gail Karriker, 74, of Mooresville, N.C., will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, nurturing family member, and cherished friend. Born on August 20, 1951, in Rowan County, Brenda was the daughter of the late Clarence Bruce James Jr. and Elsie Dale Campbell James. A lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Brenda enriched the lives of many as a Sunday school teacher and an active participant in church activities. A memorial service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, with Rev. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville will be serving the Karriker family.
