Despite a team-high 23 points and seven rebounds from Jocelyn Grier, the NC State women’s basketball team defeated Boston College by a final score of 106-84 on Thursday night inside Conte Forum. Things remained close during the beginning, as NC State only maintained a 27-22 lead over Boston College through one quarter. The Eagles’ shooters finished 29-of-70 from the field for a field goal percentage of 41%, while NC State finished 38-of-62 for 61%. But NC State outrebounded the Eagles, 37-30. The second half wasn’t much different than the first, as the Wolfpack outscored Boston College by an impressive margin of 49-36.
