An unintended chemical release at a suburban swim school sent five people to the hospital Thursday evening, authorities said. Around 5 p.m., authorities responded to the Goldfish Swim School, located at 678 North Northwest Highway in Park Ridge, after employees unintentionally released a chemical. The people affected were a mix of instructors and students, and potentially some parents, authorities said.
