Sophia Crum led the way for Mount St. Mary with 20 points, five assists and three rebounds. The momentum shifted in the second quarter when Immaculata outscored Mount St. Mary 22-8 to take a 27-19 halftime lead. In the extra period, Mount St. Mary outscored Immaculata 6-4 to secure the victory and advance in the tournament. Mount St. Mary will face sixth-seeded Pingry in the second round on Saturday.
