Despite Scotch Plains-Fanwood outscoring Plainfield 14-9 in the third quarter, the Cardinals regained control in the final period with a 20-11 advantage to seal the victory. Plainfield dominated the boards, out-rebounding Scotch Plains-Fanwood 29-19, with Tylor Hunter leading the way with seven rebounds. The win improved Plainfield’s UCC-Watchung Division record to 7-1, while Scotch Plains-Fanwood fell to 1-6 in division play.
