Kaduna, NIPR Sign MoU To Host Public Relations Week

From Rahila Abdullahi, KadunaKaduna State government and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, for the hosting of the 2026 Nigeria Public Relations Week, NPRW, formalising the state’s selection as host of the prestigious national event.
According to the council, Kaduna State emerged host after a rigorous assessment process in recognition of its track record in crisis management, peace restoration, inclusive infrastructural development and sustained economic renewal.
Governor Sani reaffirmed the state’s readiness to host the event to the highest professional and organisational standards.
He highlighted ongoing investments in agriculture and food security, including the Special Agro-Processing Zone, Africa Quality Assurance Centre, $200 million Mega Poultry Project and the allocation of 11 percent of the proposed 2026 state budget to agriculture.
The governor expressed appreciation with his appointment as patron of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, expressing confidence that the 2026 Nigeria Public Relations Week would set a new benchmark and deliver lasting value to participants, Kaduna State and the nation.
