Introduced in January 2026, BBSA was launched by Nelson Pompigne-Mognard, a Franco-Gabonese student-athlete at Bromsgrove School. The association aims to build community, encourage personal growth and equip students with leadership skills. Other plans include advocating for diversity and inclusion throughout the school and creating opportunities for students to develop through active involvement in events. Mr Pompigne-Mognard is currently in Year 13 at Bromsgrove School and plays number eight for the school’s 1st XV rugby team. He was called up by the French Rugby Federation in December 2025 to join the Générations Bleues U18 elite programme, which identifies high-potential under-18 players.
