Now however prominent Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station claims the Galaxy S27 Ultra will maintain the current tradition of running only a Snapdragon chipset. The San Diego maker will deliver a custom chip likely to be called Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro to secure the order. Seeing how TSMC is struggling with capacity, chip manufacturers are flocking to alternatives like Samsung. The other two models, the Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus, will likely run on Samsung's upcoming Exynos 2600 SoC. Or at least that's what the current rumors imply.
