Shinichi Atobe is releasing a new album. Silent Way arrives March 27 on the label he founded last year, Plastic & Sounds. Berlin-based artist Rashad Becker mixed and mastered Silent Way, and photographer Yusuke Yamatani shot its album cover. The record marks Atobe’s first full-length since 2024’s Discipline and follows the EP Ongaku 1, which he shared the same year. Since releasing his debut 12-inch Ship-Scope on Basic Channel sublabel Chain Reaction in 2001, Atobe has put out a steady stream of albums and EPs.
