Northern Minnesota will weather another cold snap through the end of January, but there will also be plenty of sunshine. Clear skies overnight into Friday will keep sunrise temperatures well below zero, with a gentle north breeze. By the afternoon, sunshine will push highs into the mid- to upper single digits, with wind chills remaining subzero through the afternoon. Winds remain out of the northwest early, but turn to the south at 5 to 15 mph by the afternoon; highs will make it up to the upper teens. Snow totals look to remain around an inch or two at most as temperatures warm into the 20s for the start of February.
