The fundraiser will benefit the Scarborough Hospital Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), with proceeds raised by Joe Logan and Jordan Mintoft, who are preparing to run the London Marathon in April. Joe Logan said: "We are proud to represent York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity at this year’s London Marathon. "We knew straight away that we wanted to support the Special Care Baby Unit after the incredible care they gave to our three daughters, Amelia, Phoebe, and Paige. York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity is encouraging individuals, groups, and businesses to get involved, with sponsorship opportunities available for the event. York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity supports local NHS services by funding extra items that make a difference for patients, families and staff - including improvements to hospital environments, additional equipment, and projects that enhance care and experience.
