His barrister Eddison Flint said dealing had become his full-time occupation after he initially started it to fund his own drug habit. Crabtree, of Troutbeck, Woodthorpe, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply it, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, having criminally acquired cash and possessing cannabis for his own use. The cannabis dealing had been between August 2022 to his arrest. Mr Flint said Crabtree had been frank with police and had told them the majority of the cash on him was the proceeds of drug dealing. “He is drug free, he has got a full-time job and he is trying to put his best foot forward,” said Mr Flint.
