A loading ban in Blake Street in near McDonald’s from 10.30am to 5pm has been approved while changes to its one-way system will be trialled and monitored for 18 months. Vehicles are barred from entering Blake Street from 10.30am to 5pm, with few exceptions, and the stretch of road between Museum Street and its bollards is one-way. Vehicles which currently turn into the street have to exit back onto Museum Street, violating its one-way restrictions. But changes will allow for part one-way and two-way traffic flows along the initial stretch of Blake Street so vehicles which do enter can leave. The Blake Street and Museum Street junction and the slip road onto Duncombe Place.
