The Wake County Public School System on Thursday announced the district will be on a two-hour delay again on Friday. "I don't work for, like, one of the big companies that has unlimited PTO and unlimited days and remote capabilities." The drop-off loop was icy at North Ridge Elementary School in north Raleigh, as was a crosswalk in front of the school. As the threat of more winter weather looms, it could cause a scheduling problem for Wake County schools. The school district, as of Thursday night, hasn't made any decisions on how it will handle closures after the snow storm.
