Dorset Police was named a winner in two categories at the National Centre for Violence Against Women and Girls and Public Protection (NCVPP) annual recognition event, which honours outstanding approaches to tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) across policing. Dorset Police was also recognised for The Pineapple Project, a partnership with Dorset Council. It established a network of more than 60 trained Community Guardians—businesses and volunteers who provide safe havens for girls and young women.
