Hampshire housebuilder hosts heart checks for staff

Barratt David Wilson Homes organised a workplace drop-in session at its Hedge End headquarters, delivered in partnership with cardiac charity Heartbeat, and two specialist nurses from University Hospital Southampton.

Staff received 10-minute checks covering blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels, and BMI, along with tailored advice.
Tanya Harder, fundraising and marketing manager at Heartbeat, said: "Heart disease symptoms tend to go unnoticed until a major event such as a heart attack happens."
