Today looks to be a near rinse and repeat from yesterday, with mostly clear skies both throughout the night and daytime hours. Lows drop to the single digits below for much of southern Minnesota, keeping wind chills bitterly cold to start off the morning. By the afternoon today, winds remain out of the north at 5 to 15 mph, and highs remain in the upper single digits even with sunshine through the afternoon. As we head into the weekend, lows will once again drop below zero, but winds will start to turn through Saturday afternoon. ADVERTISEMENTWhile the clouds will keep lows above zero, they will also be ushering in a chance for snow to start February.
