The closures aren’t just limited to this year. Deliciously Ella in Mayfair shut in late 2024; Wulf & Lamb in Marylebone appears to be closed too and Camden vegan mainstay What The Pitta is also gone. One big loss that many in the community still mourn is The Vurger Co, which was founded by Rachel Hugh in 2016 and went onto become a huge success story, before abruptly closing all four of its restaurants in 2024.
