But the Milwaukee Press Club is celebrating a little early Thursday, Jan. 29. That's when, all the way back in 1846, Milwaukee became Milwaukee. Thursday nights celebration was hosted at the Grain Exchange. Of course, there was plenty of birthday cake, in the form of a giant disco ball!
