EAST GRAND FORKS — Blake Schultz and Tatem Votava both started playing varsity in their respective sports as eighth-graders. That early start is paying dividends for the two East Grand Forks Senior High seniors, who have both managed record-breaking seasons in their final year. "It’s something that doesn’t happen every day," East Grand Forks Athletic Director Scott Koberinski said. "Both girls have had really good careers here at East Grand Forks, and they’ve been fun to watch. "Yeah, it was cool, but it’s not really about the points," Votava said.
