GRAND FORKS — UND head coach Dennis Hutter viewed Thursday evening's rematch against Oral Roberts as an opportunity to measure his team's growth.
Oral Roberts surged ahead in the third quarter and hung on for an 89-80 victory over UND at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center, improving to 12-9, 5-3 in conference.
Though UND had taken a near knockout blow, the hosts managed to respond in the final minutes of the third quarter.
Baldwin led the way with 25 points and five 3-pointers, followed by redshirt senior Jalei Oglesby's 21 points.
"I thought they played with great intensity in the first half," Hutter said.
