Launched as part of the celebrations to mark Norfolk Churches Trust's 50th anniversary, the contest asks children to capture the beauty and history of local churches.
Recognising difficult school budgets, the competition offers prizes of up to £500 worth of art equipment for the winning school, courtesy of Abacus Resources, as well as art supply bundles for winning pupils.
Beyond the prizes, organisers hope the competition will inspire the next generation to appreciate these sites of heritage.
Pupils are encouraged to enter artwork inspired by what they discover inside their local churches, moving beyond simply appreciating their external grandeur.
Winners will receive their prizes from Dame Emma Bridgewater at Norwich Cathedral on June 17.
