Launched in Sunderland, the City Volunteers project aims to create a network of volunteers who will support events and activities across the city, from music festivals and markets to sporting fixtures and firework displays. Led by Sunderland Culture in partnership with Sunderland Business Improvement District (BID), the Foundation of Light, and Culture House, the programme has been developed with support from the North East Combined Authority.
