Festival of Thrift returning to North East venue after multi-year deal

The Festival of Thrift will make its return to Kirkleatham Museum and its grounds in 2026, following a newly announced multi-year partnership with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

Wayne Hemingway MBE, founder and board member of the Festival of Thrift, said: "Kirkleatham holds a very special place in the heart of Festival of Thrift.
"Festival of Thrift is about celebrating sustainability, creativity and community in ways that are joyful and accessible.
"We can’t wait to return in July 2026 and bring the festival back to Kirkleatham for audiences old and new."
