AUGUSTA – It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Scott P. Snedden on Jan. 6, 2026, at the age of 73, following a long illness. Born on April 9, 1952, in New Bedford, Mass., Scott discovered his passion for teaching while serving as a camp counselor in Cape Cod. He also leaves behind his brother, George Snedden III and his wife Brenda; his sister, Holly Shaw and her husband Thomas; his niece and nephew, Erika and George IV; and his grandniece, Marissa. He was predeceased by his parents, George II and Faith Snedden; his sister, Heather McGowan; and his grandparents, George Snedden and Bernice Wing.
