Starting pitching was one of the Houston Astros' most obvious needs entering the offseason. Even if Imai is the last significant name the Astros knew they would add, the search for depth had to continue. On Thursday evening, the Astros reportedly pulled off a trade with the San Francisco Giants to land another starting pitcher of Imai's age, but who will arrive in Houston with much less fanfare. According to a report from The Athletic's Chandler Rome, the Astros agreed to a trade that would land right-hander Kai-Wei Teng from the San Francisco Giants.
