Campaspe Shire welcomes 42 new Australian citizens

The ceremony took place at the Echuca Wharf on Friday, January 23, welcoming people from 11 nations as they took the oath of citizenship.
They are from Bangladesh, Egypt, Estonia, India, Ireland, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The ceremony featured a beautiful riverside landscape and live music performed by Drew Walker.
Campaspe Shire Council chief executive Pauline Gordon was emcee on the day, while Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell and state Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh were also in attendance to welcome the new citizens.
The new citizens were supported throughout the milestone moment, surrounded by a big crowd of friends, family and community members.
