Sunil N S also known as Pulsar Suni, the first accused in the 2017 actress abduction and rape case has approached Kerala High Court challenging his conviction and sentence imposed by the Sessions Court, Ernakulam. The Sessions Court had sentenced him to 20 years rigorous imprisonment. “The prosecution case is false, fabricated, and the result of a motivated and one-sided investigation. The appellant asserts that material contradictions in witness testimonies and defects in the prosecution case were overlooked, resulting in what he describes as a wrongful conviction. Martin Antony, the second accused and Saleem H. @ Vadival Salim and Pradeep, the fifth and sixth accused in the case have also approached the High Court earlier challenging their conviction and sentence.
