According to data from the German Federal Statistical Office, soybean meal exports from German oil mills only reached 741,000 tonnes during the period July to November 2025, representing an 11% decline compared with the reference period of 2024. At the same time, the volume of rapeseed meal placed on the world market also dropped, falling 22% to 537,000 tonnes. According to investigations by Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft, most rapeseed and soybean meal produced in Germany was exported to other EU countries. From July to November 2025, Germany sold around 200,000 tonnes of rapeseed meal to this neighbouring country, representing a 30% decline from the same period the previous year. Rapeseed meal exports to Sweden, Finland and Switzerland also remained below the previous year's levels.
