Sha’Carri Richardson has been arrested for excessive speeding. The 25-year-old Olympian was charged with dangerous excessive speeding, meaning over 100 miles per hour, on Thursday (January 29), reports TMZ. A first conviction carries a prison term of 30 days or a fine of $500. In August, Sha’Carri was arrested and charged with fourth-degree domestic violence and assault after a verbal altercation with her boyfriend Christian Coleman allegedly turned physical at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The professional athlete previously won silver in the 100 meter and gold in the 4×100 meter relay at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
