DMK Member of Parliament and Deputy General Secretary Kanimozhi on Thursday accused the Central government of forcing Hindi on people in Tamil Nadu. She shared a photo of a railway station nameboard in Chennai and said that the English name had been replaced with Hindi. Posting on social media platform X, Kanimozhi said the problem of Hindi imposition has been going on for many years. She referred to the historic Kallakudi protest against Hindi and said the issue still continues today. They are not going to stop imposing it, and we are not going to stop opposing it,” she wrote.
