Tension at Medaram as Minister’s convoy attacked by devoteesRestless devotees attacked the convoy of minister Adluri Laxman when he went to the Medaram jatara. About four vehicles were partially damaged in the incident, which occurred around 2.30 am on Friday. According to reports, the Minister’s convoy attempted to make its way to the Gadellu amidst a sea of devotees. Irked over the chaos and what they described as poor arrangements, devotees allegedly attacked the Minister’s convoy. Rear windscreens of a couple of cars were damaged, and the side door of one car was also damaged, reports added.
