Man injured during robbery on Kanoelehua Avenue in Hilo

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a robbery in Hilo early the morning of Sunday, Jan. 11, that left a man with a fractured jaw and a concussion.
The victim was taken to Hilo Benioff Medical Center for treatment.
Police describe one suspect as a local male in his 20s to 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 220 pounds.
He was wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt, a gold chain and a green-and-yellow baseball cap.
