WINSLOW – Elizabeth “Betty” Spaulding, 85, of Winslow, passed away on Jan. 23, 2026, after a period of declining health. Betty’s hobbies included reading, gardening and knitting, especially cat blankets for the Humane Society. She volunteered at the Waterville Humane Society, serving as Chair of their annual plant sale for many years and was a past recipient of their Volunteer of the Year Award. She married her high school sweetheart, LeBaron “Lee” Spaulding on Oct. 8, 1960, and they shared 65 years of marriage together. Betty was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Barbara Meyers; her in-laws Daniel and Theresa Spaulding; and sister-in-law, Theodora Chaykowski.
