Air India has launched its latest 787-9 aircraft equipped with Thales' AVANT Up inflight entertainment (IFE) system, marking a significant milestone in Indian aviation.
The aircraft, part of an order for six new 787-9s, was unveiled at Wings India 2026 and will enter service on 1 February 2026.
This development positions Air India as the first airline in the Asia Pacific region to offer the advanced AVANT Up solution.
