Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has reacted to the threat by three former governors of the State to drag him to the Court for running the State’s functions from his private residence in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area. He noted that reconstruction of the dilapidated Government House was ongoing, arguing that Abia people are more interested in good governance they are getting than where he (Otti) is operating from. “Somebody said he will sue me for not operating from his house in Umuahia; well, I am waiting for the suit. “I have looked at the constitution and I didn’t see where there is a provision that I must operate from a place”, Otti said. The Governor further urged the Abia citizens to remain security conscious by reporting suspicious movements and elements to the nearest security points.
