He worked as a substitute teacher at local Catholic schools and was recently fired, the Chicago Archdiocese said. Orland Park police say 43-year-old Brett Smith engaged in sexual contact with a juvenile. In a letter to school parents, the Chicago Archdiocese says they fired Smith as a substitute teacher after learning of a history of sexual misconduct allegations.
