‎The lawmaker representing Plateau North Senatorial District, Pam Mwadkon has dumped his party, the Action Democratic Party (ADP). ‎‎Mwadkon announced his resignation from the ADP during the plenary at the Nigerian Senate on Thursday, January 29. ‎‎According to Mwadkon, the APC will provide him the opportunity and platform needed to champion his political desires. ‎‎He also stated that the ruling party will help him serve members of his constituents diligently. ‎‎Mwadkon’s defection from the ADP to the APC comes barely 24 hours after the governor of Plateau State, Caleb Muftwang was formally received by the leaders of the ruling party.
