‎The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has unveiled its provisional timetable for the 2026 Anambra State Local Government primary elections. ‎‎Screening of chairmanship and councillorship aspirants will follow from February 7 to 11 across the state’s 21 local government areas and 326 wards. ‎‎The chairmanship primary election is set for February 15 in Awka, with any appeals arising from the primaries to be resolved the following day, February 16. ‎‎APGA fixed the cost of forms at N6 million for chairmanship aspirants and N600,000 for councillorship aspirants. ‎‎The party urged all intending aspirants to strictly comply with the stipulated guidelines and electoral regulations.
