(ABC 6 News) — Rochester Mayor Kim Norton has announced the city has been awarded a $50,000 at the United States Conference of Mayors. The grant is for a “Move to the Market” partnership initiative. According to Mayor Norton, the funds from the American Beverage Association will support The Village Agricultural Cooperative and their effort to support small local farmers and create new farmers markets.
