We’ll wrap up the week on a cold note Friday as temperatures remain well below average. Morning lows will drop below zero and highs will top out around 10 degrees with some locations remaining in the single digits. We start to turn a corner Saturday with high temperatures returning to the upper teens to around 20 degrees Saturday afternoon. A wave of low pressure will sweep from the High Plains through the Upper Midwest Sunday, bringing with it the likelihood of a light, accumulating snow. It’s not going to be a big one for us, but will be enough of a light, powdery snow to warrant shovels and plows.
