(KQTV) -- The Buchanan County Democrats hosted a meet-and-greet for St. Joseph School District Board of Education candidates running for two open seats. “I am very interested in our school system here in St Joe, and so I want to hear what all of our school board candidates have to say and their ideas for the district,” resident Pam May said. Some attendees came mainly to show support for candidates they already plan to vote for. But for St. Joseph High School junior Jacey Jackson, the night was about more than just backing her mom, school board candidate Cassandra Veale.
